Amazon’s just released their new ebook reader, the Kindle 2. That’s not the freebie here, although wouldn’t it be nice to have a free Kindle 2?
Anyway, the device makes it easy to download and read ebooks, magazines, and newspapers from the amazon store at Amazon.com
They have also released a new application for the iphone. It’s free, and it allows you to download books from Amazon’s Kindle store
Until May 20, Amazon and Crossway books is giving you a free English Standard Version (ESV) of the Bible to download and read either on your Kindle or iPhone. That’s the featured freebie. It’s a version of the Bible that has been gaining popularity in the last few years, easy to read, and now available for FREE.
