I think Cruises are the best way to travel! You get all the food you can eat! You go to bed and wake up in a new exciting place! The price includes all your food, lodging, and entertainment! Your gratuities are not included but they come to about $10 per person per day. You can also prepay for your gratuities, which could make things easier. Your excursions are not included either but you can also pay in advance for your excursions
It has been a while since I have been on a cruise so I only have a few tips about getting the best price.
I like to search Cruise411.com this website lets you filter your search by length of cruise, destination, or cruise line. They have a “Lowest Price Guarantee – 110% of Difference Refunded” policy. They also have a list of all the best deals available on there homepage. Here is a link to their online magazine.
I still like to go to the Cruise Line’s website to see if there is a better deal available.
Travelocity has a good list of cruise deals.
I also like Cruise.com. This website do not charge a service fee.
There are always a lot of deal available. Often they offer you a credit. This can be used on the ship for excursions, spa treatments, gift shop purchases, etc.
A good deal, in my opinion, is about $50 a day. Now this would be for the cheapest room. I actually loved having an inside room with out a window. You could take a nap at any time and it was so dark in your room. The window is nice but you can see so much more from the deck! Sometime they will upgrade your room.

After we book our cheap flight at a different airport, book our cheap hotel by the airport, we need to make sure we also get a cheap car. Here are my best tips for finding the best deals on rental cars.
I always start at Kayak because it searches the search engines and it lets me know the rental car companies that service the areas that I need.
Go check out the rental car company’s website. Then check out this website because they have the best coupon codes available for most rental car companies. You can save up to 25% by using these codes!
You usually do not need to purchase the extra car insurance because your car insurance company should cover you while driving the rental car. Call your insurance company to make sure because the insurance is expensive! I know if you pay with your Visa your Visa card will cover Auto Rental Collision Damage Waiver. When you rent a car through the rental car company’s website you usually don’t have to enter your credit card information. You can cancel your reservations at any time. Just double check before you cancel.
Join the rental car company’s club. This is great because they usually have an express line if you are a member. This is great when there is a line! The memberships are usually free and sometimes they earn you some kind of rewards.
We have rented several cars and have never received the car we have reserved. We have always received a better car.
Check the car for scratches and any other problems. Report them so you will not be liable.
Make sure you know where to drop off the car when you are done. You can rent cars at one destination and drop it off at a different location.

Sometime when we fly we choose to fly out of different airports to get a better fare. We need to make sure we can find a good deal on a hotel so that we are still saving some money by traveling to a different airport. He is how I try to find the best deal possible.
Kayak - I like this website because it searches all the search engines. It is really helpful to also see what hotel are in the area that we want to stay. You can usually filter the search to just see certain parts of the city like the airport or on the beach.
After you see what hotels are available in the area go to that hotels website. This could save you the fees* that the other websites may charge you.
I also like to try Hotwire.com. We used this last year when we flew out of Miami. They don’t tell you the hotel you are staying at until after you make your purchase but it tells you the rating of the hotel and it will tell you the amenities available. We stayed at a pretty nice hotel and paid about half price when we book through Hotwire. For example you can get a 4-star hotel near the airport in Orlando for only $61!
You can also call a hotel directly to see if they have a better deal available. I have seen that hotel have better prices if you book 21 days in but I have not found a much better deal booking a hotel in advance unless you are going to a popular destination during the high season.
If you are staying somewhere for several nights, join the hotels rewards club. Some give FREE nights after only 5 nights!
