Pfizer has just launched a program for newly unemployed Americans so that they can still receive their medications even if they can’t afford them.
Eligibility: Individuals and their immediate family members are eligible for this program if:
~They have become unemployed since January 1, 2009
~They were prescribed and taking a Pfizer medicine for at least 3 months prior to becoming
unemployed and enrolling in the program
~ Lack prescription drug coverage
~ Can attest to financial hardship
Benefits: People enrolled in the program will get their Pfizer medicines for up to one year, or until they become re-insured (whichever comes first).
