My favorite part of any Publix cake is the butter cream frosting! It is soooo yummy! I just found out that you can buy the butter cream frosting from Publix for $5.00 a pound! I know that doesn’t sound very cheap but if you buy a pound of the frosting you can make and frost your own cake!
When I bought the frosting they told me that I would only get to frost 6-7 cup cakes. This sounded crazy to me and it was! I was able to frost 30 cup cakes and I had some left over! You can have a delicious cake that tastes like a Publix cake for under $6 if you make your own cake!
Use these tips to get a moist cake and add the Publix frosting.
Just make sure you whip it with your mixer before you frost your cake or cup cakes. You can also freeze the frosting for another use if you have too much.
