I ran across a few things today that I wanted to share.
My sons had some birthday money so we went to Toys R Us. Nathan loved the store! We don’t have anything like that in Mexico so we spent a long time there. I picked out a musical drum for Ben. It was on clearance for 14.98. Everything in the store that is on clearance is an extra 20% off. After the extra discount it was just under $12. Well it said on the package that with the purchase I would receive a free subscription to Parents magazine. I already get a FREE 2 year subscription so I was reading the fine print and it said that if I did not want the magazine I could get a $7 refund! Not a bad $5 gift! So if you are in Toy’s R Us keep your eyes open for the sticker on the box!
I have been reading all this stuff about selling your gold. Well I had 2 necklaces that were broken and not really fixable so I brought them to a kiosk in the mall called Gold Buyers at the Mall. I gave them my necklaces and was expecting $20 max – she told me $40! I was so happy. It is not very ofter you leave the mall with more money than when you left! It was easy and a good way to get some extra cash! If you have some broken or mismatched earring laying around the house see if your mall has the Gold Buyers Kiosk. You don’t have to sell it if you don’t like the price.

wow this is a great post. i was just mentioning this to my hubby since we see those commercials for send your gold dot com i wonder how does work? i have not seen one of those Kiosk here in San Diego but will keep my eye open as i do have mixes of earrings and crosses i no longer use!

Glad you had a good experience at Gold Buyers at the Mall, people all over the place are really happy with the service and the way the company walks you through the process with no pressure. We are their advertising agency and have been helping to grow their image and visibility both online and through traditional means. You can find their locations on their website (http://www.goldbuyersatthemall.com) and while they do not currently have any CA locations, they are planned for the near future, as well as a mail-in program to make it even more convenient if you are not near a physical location.
