My sister has Bright House for her cable/phone/internet provider. She has been complaining that she did not have a wireless router in her house. So I told her to call Bright House and see how much it would cost for them to install one. I told her that our mom has Verizon and they gave her a free router.
When she first called they said a new router would cost $149.99 with no monthly fees. That is way over-priced to begin with! So she told the lady that her mom has Verizon and they gave her a free router. The lady suddenly had a great deal for her!

It is worth a few minutes in your day to see what deals you can get! Don’t be afraid to mention deals from other companies! If my sister did not mention the free router at Verizon she would have paid too much for a router and not got the great deal!
