Jalapeno Poppers

  • 12oz of softened cream cheese
  • 8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded (or you can used a mixed cheese)
  • 16 peppers
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut pepper in half removing the seeds. Be careful, this can burn if you don’t wash your hand well.
  2. In a bowl mix cream cheese and shredded cheese. Spoon mixture into peppers.
  3. Put milk and flour in 2 separate bowls.
  4. Dip the jalapenos in milk then into flour until they are well coated and let them dry for about 10 minutes.
  5. Dip in milk again and roll through bread crumbs. Allow to dry and dip in milk and bread crumbs again.Be sure the jalapeno is fully coated.
  6. In a medium skillet or deep fryer add oil. Heat to 365 degrees. Deep fry each for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove and let dry on paper towels.

Cheese Ball

  • 2- 8oz packages of cream cheese, softened
  • 3-½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 (1oz) package Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions
Combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, dressing mix in a large bowl. Form 1 large ball or 2 small balls. Roll in chopped pecans to cover the cheese balls. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. I sometimes cut this recipe in half so I don’t eat 2 cheese balls! This is soooooo good and so easy!
