Locks of Love is a great organization that uses donated hair to make hairpieces for children. They can accept hair in a pony tail that is 10 inches or longer. You can click here to read about the guideline.
I was in Fantastic Sam’s last month and while I was getting my hair cut a lady came in and asked if they cut hair and send it away to Locks of Love. They said they did and that they would also finish the cut and style your hair for FREE! I thought that was great that they would give you a hair cut for free because you donated your hair for this great cause!
I just thought I would pass this information along in case there were readers that were considering donating their hair! If you know of any other salons that offer free hair cuts with your hair donation please let me know!
