How old were you when you had your first cell phone? I was 18, and I remember that I really only talked on it after 9pm and sending text messages was the worst! We didn’t even have access to the internet on these phones! How did we survive!?

Now teens and preteens are getting cell phones. While it’s nice that I can use it to communicate with my child no matter where he is, I am really scared about the dangers there are on the other side of the device. We have set up strict rules when it comes to who our kids can communicate online. Not just on their cell phones but also on their video games.

You don’t just have to worry about who they talk and text with; you have to worry about what they may see online too. Youtube is a fun place for my kids. They love to watch videos about how to beat a level on a video game or listen to a British guy talk about video games.

But what happens when they get curious and want to Google something? Our teenagers can’t unsee the things that they may accidentally stumble upon while surfing the web. There is so much inappropriate content online. Screen time is becoming an addiction and teens are losing sleep, and it could be affecting their grades.

If you have been worried about what your teenager is doing online, I have an app that makes parenting in this digital age much easier. You can use your device to keep your kids safe and monitor screen usage time!

Solution = TeenLimit App

There are 2 versions available. The TeenLimit Kid’s Version (Android only) is free and will allow you to block apps and Manage their screen time. The TeenLimit Parental Version Premium is 3.29 per month and has so many great features. You have a remote control option, app blocking, geolocation, activity report, real-time notifications and more. It is available for Android and Apple devices.

I really love the geolocation option because I can get on my phone and know exactly where my teen is at all times! TeenLimit App helps you to teach your kids how to safely use their screen time.

I love technology. We are more connected than ever, but that also comes with more dangers. Technology is a huge part of our lives. I want our kids to have fun but also be safe.

Think about how much time your teen spends online. I think that as parents we have the responsibility to help them make better choices. And sometimes that includes being in control to the things they have access to. TeenLimit App makes it easier to protect our teens!

In our home, it is a privilege to have your own device. I don’t want to ruin their social lives, but I also want to be able to give them guidance and keep them safe. It’s our job as loving parents!

Have you ever used an app to control your child’s screen time? Do you ever worry about what they see online?

My nephew just got his first cell phone at 12. I got my first one at 15/16 and it was only $30 a month! Oh I miss those days but when I had a cell I didnt have scary technology on it. It was for phone calls and texting only. These kids now are in scary territory! I would want this app on my nephew's phone now!
