Last week this computer was on sale at Best Buy for only $299! When my mom went to buy it last week the store was out of them. The ad did not say anything about not issuing rain checks. My sister even called the store to see if we could get a rain check and she was told yes she could but they were not sure when a new shipment would arrive.
So Saturday night my mom drove up to the mall to get her rain check. The salesperson and the manager told her they could not issue her a rain check because it was too cheap and they were not sure when they would get a new shipment. So my mom had wasted a trip to the mall!
I went to twitter and sent a message to @TWELPFORCE – this is the customer service department at Best Buy. I sent them a message Sunday morning and they responded before I got home from church! I explained to them my problem and they said I could have a rain check! It will be in the mail tomorrow! I also learned that their policy says that if they dont get a shipment in 45 days they have to give you a comparable product for the same price!
So thanks @TWELPFORCE for fixing my problem!
