Coupons are Awesome!

I got 5 Nivea Men’s Body Washes, 1 Nivea Woman’s Body Wash, 2 Olay Ribbons Body Washes, 2 travel sized Secret deodorants, and 1 Reach Dental Floss and I paid just $5!

I went to Walmart and price matched the Nivea Body Washes that are $2.99 at Target. I had 5 $3 off coupons so the men’s body washes were all FREE!

I also price matched the woman’s body wash to $2.99 and I had a $2 off coupon. So I paid $1 for the body wash.

The Olay body washes were $5 but I had a coupon for $5 off any Olay product when you buy any Secret product. I bought the travel sized deodorants for .97 cents and got the Olay body washes for free!

The Reach floss was .97 cents and I had a $1 off coupon so that was also free!

I mostly had to pay taxes. Not a bad deal for so many bottles of body washes! Unfortunately, the coupons all expire today. If you have any of these coupons, it may be worth your time to head to your local Walmart. Make sure you bring your Target ad with you, so you can price match! It would have cost almost $40!

Walmart will also be changing the way they do their Black Friday Sales.

According to the NY Times the most significant change at Wal-Mart is that the majority of its discount stores (as opposed to its Supercenters) will open Thanksgiving morning at 6 a.m. and stay open through Friday evening. By keeping the stores open for 24 hours, Wal-Mart is hoping for a steady flow of shoppers instead of mammoth crowds swelling outside its stores in the wee hours of Friday.

Also customers will be able to enter the store at any time and line up at merchandise displays for the must-have items on their lists. When the products go on sale Friday at 5 a.m., workers will supervise the lines, giving shoppers the merchandise in the order in which they joined the line — until the goods are out of stock.
