Join the rental car company’s club. This is great because they usually have an express line if you are a member. This is great when there is a line! The memberships are usually free and sometimes they earn you some kind of reward.

We have rented several cars and have never received the car we have reserved. We have always received a better car.

Check the car for scratches and any other problems. Report them so you will not be liable.
