I have really been in the mood for Alfredo Pasta so I decided to try this recipe. I can’t remember where I found it but it was a really good recipe! My only problem with it was that it was a little runny but it had a fabulous taste! It was on the table in about 20 minutes!
Alfredo Sauce
• 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 cups heavy cream
• 1/4 teaspoon white pepper ( I used black pepper)
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese
• 1 (12 ounce) box angel hair pasta or whatever pasta you want!
Directions
1. Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium/low heat. Add garlic for about a minute.
2. Add the cream, white pepper and bring mixture to a simmer.
3. Stir often.
4. Add the Parmesan cheese and simmer sauce for 8-10 minutes or until sauce has thickened and is smooth.
Salt to taste – we found the salt really brought out the garlic flavor.
