Yorkshire Pudding is the best! My kids all beg for this with every meal we eat but it’s even better to enjoy with roast beef, mashed potatoes, and gravy made with the pan drippings.
This is a family recipe that has been passed on from generation to generation! I remember my grandma making these with roast beef, mashed potatoes, and pan gravy.
This is my absolute favorite meal!
My kids love these popovers so much that they learned how to divide 12 by 5 really fast. And there is usually lots of negotiating at the table to get any extras!
This recipe has just 4 ingredients and is so simple – you probably already have everything in your house! A few important things to note about this recipe.
Don’t open the oven when they are baking!! This will make them deflate and not get the crispy edges that are so good!
Don’t forget the salt. This is what helps it poof up!
Make sure you heavily grease the cupcake tins. I have used melted butter, oil, cooking spray, etc. It’s weird because sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.
It is best to remove them from the muffin tin as soon as you take them from the oven. We throw them into a bowl and enjoy them. They are so good filled with some gravy or use it to soak up the last of the gravy and mashed potatoes that are left on your plate.
