This Easy Sloppy Joe recipe is so yummy!! It’s quick and easy to throw together and taste better than the package!
I know I am always looking for recipes that are easy to make and my kids’ love. It’s even better if I can make it with ground beef since they usually only want hamburgers. This recipe is too easy. Plus I always have these ingredients in my house.
You can easily double or triple the recipe to feed a crowd and keep it warm in your slow cooker. I also usually make my own rolls so I don’t have to run out to the store and I think that this recipe really adds extra flavor to this meal.
Easy Sloppy Joe Recipe
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 TBSP of dried onions flakes or about 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard (a little less if you are not a big mustard fan)
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
In a large skillet, brown beef with onions (make sure to drain after this step). Mix the rest of the ingredients together. Add to beef and onions. Cook for 15-20 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Serve on warm hamburger buns.

This is best served with some mac and cheese and a side salad. You could even add some raw carrots and ranch dressing for dipping.
This is a meal you can whip up in less than 30 minutes. I know I need more of these meals on my list of easy dinner recipes!
