Price Match/Adjustment Policy

Did you know that some stores will refund you the difference when you purchase something and it goes on sale in the near future? Check out the policies below! You may be able to get a refund on stuff you have already purchased! Below are some of the highlights. Make sure you click the links to get all the information about price match guarantees.

Just today my sister was able to get a $20 refund on a stroller she bought 12 days ago at Target! Anytime I make a large purchase I keep my receipts and frequently check the prices during the time frame allowed my the store.

Best Buy – If you find a lower price on BestBuy.com or in a Best Buy Retail Store for the same brand and model during the exchange and return period, they will match that price. (it’s 14 days for some products, 30 days for others, and 45 days for Reward Zone Premier Silver) If you buy something at a Best Buy store they will even price match a competitor’s price!

Target – 14 days for price adjustment online and in store.

Staples – If you find a lower price anywhere else on a new identical item, just show us the lower price when you buy the item at Staples and we will match the price, or within 14 days of your Staples purchase and we will give you the difference.

Sears – Sears will match that price plus, give you 10% of the difference. Just bring in the original advertisement to a sales associate at the time of, or within 14 days after, your purchase.

Kohl’s – Within two weeks (14 days) of the purchase date

Toys R Us/Babies R Us – (From an email) – Our price matching policy applies to car seats, strollers, travel systems, high chairs, play yards, swings, bouncers, bassinets and entertainers only. You must show a valid and dated competitor printed advertisement showing identical item and lower price. This does not apply to online advertisements or prices. Prices are matched after deducting any “R” Us coupon savings from “R” Us price. Price matches are given only within 14 days of “R” Us purchase date with a valid receipt.

I know there are many stores out there that have these types of policies – they just don’t make them very easy to find! I have a few emails out to companies and if they respond, I will update this list. If you are making a large purchase – ask what the price adjustment policy is and where to find it. It could save you a bunch of money!
