If you have ever needed to raise money – you know it can be a little difficult. I have found a great way to raise funds for you groups, causes, or communities. Teespring is a crowdfunding platform where you can design and sell custom apparel.
It’s a really easy way to design a cool t-shirt and raise money for a cause! I think this would be a great way for a Youth Group to raise money for a summer mission trip!
How it works
- You design a shirt that represents your cause -They are very easy to design. Plus they are very high quality!
- Set up your price and goal.
- Once you have designed your shirt you can share it on all your social media outlets – Facebook, Twitter, Email, etc.
- You keep all the profits!
You can use Teespring as a fundraising tool or just to earn some extra money. You pay nothing upfront, you take no risks and don’t have to deal with the hassle of ordering the right number of shirts.
Here are some examples of shirts that raised money for a great cause.
This shirt was designed so a they could use the funds to adopt a baby. They sold 144 of them at $16. Their goal was to sell just 50 shirts and they exceeded their goal.
This shirt was designed to raise funds for The One Fund Boston to help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15, 2013. They sold over 6,000 t-shirts and donated over $85,000 to help the victims of the horrible bombing in Boston.
As you can see, it’s a very easy way to raise money for your cause. It’s also really fun – You get to design your own t-shirt!
