Freezer Friendly No Crust Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches {#12DaysOf Lunch Ideas}

We have reached the last day of our 12 days of back to school lunch ideas. I hope you have found some inspiration to add some fun meals to your child’s lunch box.

As I was grabbing a few snacks at the store for my kids last week they were in the frozen section and my son was begging for Uncrustables. This would be so easy to pop in his lunch box but I knew I could make them at home for a lot cheaper.

This idea is very easy and very customizable. Make  enough in advance so you have enough for the school week.

Freezer Friendly No Crust Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches

Step 1 – Grab your favorite bread, peanut butter, and jelly. Using the palm of your hand, flatten the bread.

Step 2 – Spread your peanut butter and jelly into the center of the bread. Do not put the PB&J all over the sandwich because it will leak out when you press the sides.

Step 3 – Cut off the crust and press the sides together with a fork to seal in the peanut butter and jelly.

Step 4 – Put them in a plastic bag and freeze. When your child eats lunch the sandwich should be defrosted and ready to eat.

You can make these and store them up to 30 days. I love that I can make them with whatever flavor of jelly and peanut butter each child likes. We can even change up the type of bread we use.  I hope this makes it easier for you to make lunch each day!
