I received a Venta Airwasher for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
During the summer we visited Kentucky to look for a house. While we were there we had so many people tell us that the pollen is so bad in Kentucky and everyone has allergies. We lived in Florida and Mexico City, and never had problems, so I didn’t think it would really bother us.
Well….I was wrong! My poor kids are sniffling, sneezing and couching and it’s all because of allergies. I hate it. Plus with winter coming, the heat will be on and it will be very dry in our house. So when Venta offered me an air washer that humidifies and purifies the air, I was very excited to try it.
After using it for about a week we can tell there is a difference. My son was always sniffling and that has stopped when he is hanging out in the living (where we keep the Venta Airwasher). My oldest son had been coughing a lot and that seems to be getting better. We haven’t had the heat on much but I am sure this will be really nice to have when we are running the heat a lot. The temperatures have been getting cooler and cooler lately!
In the past I have had a humidifier and a separate air purifier. Each had filters and they got expensive to change. Plus it’s easy to forget to order them – so you don’t get to use them when you need them. One of my favorite things about this is that there are no filters to replace! It’s very quiet and blends in nicely in my living room.
