I was not compensated for this trip but all my expenses were paid. All opinions are my own.
These past 4 days were a whirlwind of events, interviews, special screenings, and celebrity spotting. It was an amazing experience that you would expect when you are invited to the premiere of a new movie. This movie wasn’t just any movie – The Good Dinosaur is the newest Pixar movie. It was created by the same people that did Inside Out and many other movies you are familiar with.
The Red Carpet was not actually red – it was like a river. We strolled through and saw the voices of the characters: Raymond Ochoa (voice of “Arlo”), Jack Bright (voice of “Spot”) and Marcus Scribner (voice of “Buck”). We also saw Director Peter Sohn and Producer Denise Ream. We had interviewed them and they were very sweet.
There were other stars like Weird Al, Mario Lopez, and the cast of Best Friends Whenever.
Once inside the historic El Capitian Theater on Hollywood Boulevard we watched as more stars and their families entered. This grand theatre made its debut on May 3, 1926, as “Hollywood’s First Home of Spoken Drama.” There was even a beautiful organ and the organist was playing the these songs to many Disney movies.
The premiere was the second time I had watched the movie and there were so many things that I missed the first time. Next week I will give you the full review, but I will say that you should make plans to take your family to see The Good Dinosaur on Thanksgiving. You will laugh and you will cry – just like any great Pixar film. You will be is awe of the animation. It looked so real it did not feel like an animated film many times during the movie.
Make sure you come back because I have so much cool information to share with you including interviews, sneak peeks into Disney Shows, and more!
