How I have Lost 10 Pounds By Just Changing What I Eat

Hi, my name is Janell and I am a sugarholic. I am also pretty lazy and I have never been on a diet. So how is the world did I lose 10 pounds in the last 2 months? (My husband has also lost about 12 pounds and he enjoys the foods!) It’s called Trim Healthy Mama. Maybe you have heard of it. I heard about it a few times before I actually bought the books. And now I wish I would have bought it sooner!

You see this is not a diet plan – it’s a new way of eating. You cut out sugar – but don’t worry I still get plenty of delicious sweet when you use natural sweeteners like Stevia. And you cut out bread unless it’s sour dough or made from sprouted grains.

There is a lot of information about the Trim Healthy Mama eating plan so I totally suggest you get the bo0k. You can learn a lot when you join the FB groups, so if you can only buy 1 book right now I would suggest you get Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook: Eat Up and Slim Down with More Than 350 Healthy Recipes. The plan lets you eat healthy fats like lean meat. I even have bacon and eggs for breakfast! They have recipes for delicious oatmeals, pancakes and more for breakfast. The soups are incredible and they even have single serving recipes. The dinners have been really good – my kids have eaten okra and they didn’t even know it!

There are some unique ingredients in some of the recipes but you can totally be on the plan if you don’t have the money to purchase these items.   • Gentle Sweet – This is a combination of natural sweeteners. In my opinion, it has the best taste. It tastes great in your coffee.
  • Baking Blend – This is exactly what you need to still make chocolate cakes and other goodies.
  • Coconut Oil 
  • Integral Collagen – I have not bought this yet, but it’s next on my list. You add it to things and you don’t taste it. It improves your skin, hair, and nails.
  • Mineral Salt – I use this in everything.
  • De-fatted Peanut Flour (or you can get a bag of the Jif Powder at your local store.)

Some other products I use a lot are natural peanut butter (I love Krogers plain and crunchy), Pyure or Stevia packets (make sure there aren’t any added ingredients) Old fashion oats, zucchini, eggs, bacon, unsweet cocoa powder and Lilys Chocolate chips (a little expensive but totally worth it!).

They classify the meals as S and E meals and the point is to mix up your meals and trick your metabolism. Apparently it works – I have seen amazing success stories. And if I can drop 10 pounds in about 2 months and still enjoy sweets – well then this is a new eating style for me. I also haven’t done any exercise. I plan on exercising but we live in a tiny apartment and it has been really cold outside.

I have even messed them up a few times and they were still delicious. These are meals I can eat all the time and I am full and I do not feel like I am depriving myself.
