We have a lot of technology in our home. My kids have access to many resources to learn new talents. My oldest son loves to draw. For his 13th birthday he asked for a drawing tablet. I love when he asks for gifts that can help him improve his talents and teach him new concepts and programs that will be helpful as he gets older.
The Wacom Intuos really stood out as a great drawing tablet to get him started in digital art. The pen is a more natural creative interface on your computer when creating artwork. The pressure sensitive pen helps him create thin and thick lines and get the details perfect for all of his creations. It also lets him edit images with more or less opacity depending on how hard he presses.
He loves to use it for manga art, to paint digital watercolors and retouch photos. It comes with up to 3 free creative software programs to suit your style. I am really impressed with what he can do with this tablet and how creative he is.
My son thinks it’s amazing and spends a lot of time on it creating things. I love that he is spending time on electronics being a creator and not just a consumer. He is becoming more talented and more creative with this tablet.
