Shortcut Raspberry Cream Cheese Danish
Servings: 12 Danishes

Ingredients:
- 1 roll of Pillsbury crescent sheets
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar
- 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- ½ cup mashed raspberries
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons butter
Icing recipe:
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar
- 2 Tablespoons heavy cream
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Roll out crescent dough, fold it in half and unfold it to have a center crease.
Roll each side into the middle and cut in half inch slices.
Take each slice and lay it flat on the prepared baking sheet.
Press down the dough to shape into hearts on the baking sheet.
In a medium bowl, mix the powdered sugar and cream cheese until well combined.
Spoon heaping teaspoons on each heart shape and top with the mashed raspberries.
Melt butter in a small bowl and mix in brown sugar, brush edges of hearts with mixture and bake for 15-20 min.
Whisk powdered sugar and heavy cream and drizzle over cooled danishes.
