I’ve been reading the Bible for years, but when I picked up The Message Women’s Devotional Bible, I realized I’d skim past the stories of women—or miss them entirely. This Bible slows me down, points them out, and gives them the space they deserve.
The section introductions don’t just give a quick overview of everything —there are historical and cultural backgrounds that makes the passages feel more relatable. The harder parts of Scripture aren’t skipped; they’re handled with care, giving me the whole picture.
