Is God Real? Great Faith Book For Teens

Last Updated on November 19, 2025 by Janell

I received this book for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

As a mom of teens — and as the wife of a youth pastor — I’m always on the lookout for good, faith-based books that help teens wrestle with big questions in a healthy, biblical way. I was excited to learn that Lee Stobel has a teen book called Is God Real For Teens?

We have read The Case for Christ and have always appreciated how Strobel takes deep, complex topics and explains them in a way that’s understandable and logical. This new teen edition does exactly that!

Lee Strobel, a former atheist and award-winning journalist, has spent decades researching the evidence for God. In this book, he brings together insights from science, philosophy, and personal faith stories to explore life’s ultimate question: Is God real?

What makes this version so powerful is how it’s written specifically for teens. The language is understandable, the stories are relatable, and the questions feel honest — the kind that many young people are already asking.

Each chapter is filled with questions and topics that many people struggle with.

Our teens are growing up in a world full of doubts, distractions, and differing beliefs. Is God Real? Teen Edition doesn’t shy away from those hard questions; instead, it invites teens to explore the evidence and think critically about what they believe. It’s not preachy — it’s personal, conversational, and empowering.

This is a book I’d recommend to help encourage thoughtful discussions about faith with teenagers. It gives them the confidence to know that belief in God isn’t blind — it’s backed by truth, reason, and evidence.

If you’re looking for a meaningful book to gift a teen in your life, especially during the holidays, this one is a great choice.
