Do You Have Rosacea? Try Prosacea® Medicated Rosacea Gel + Giveaway

Growing up, I always had pink, blotchy cheeks. We always just said I had natural blush. It never really bothered me when I was little but as a teenager and an adult, I didn’t like the extra redness on my face. I am not a big fan of wearing make up. Back before they had mineral powder, most people used liquid foundation and it felt gross because it’s hot and muggy in Florida.

As an adult, I visited a Dermatologist. They told me I had Rosacea. I never knew what that was. She gave me some pamphlets and a prescription. I went home and did some research and it made sense! I did use the creams for a little bit and it did help some, but once the prescription ran out I didn’t bother to refill it.

It has been a few years and  I wanted to do something to help reduce the redness and blotches on my face. I have been using Prosacea Medicated Rosacea Gel and I love it – I can really see a difference!

Hi! I don't remember having it as a teen or kid, but about 10 years ago I noticed my face would get really red. Stress would make it worse. For about 5 years, the skin would be peeling, stinging and itching real bad. I thought it was very sensitive skin. I went to my GP and during the check up I mentioned my skin. He believed it was rosacea and a dermatologist confirmed it. Before the appointment, I bought a book on rosasea and I searched online for th cheapest OTC product for rosasea. You guessed it, it happened to be Prosacea! I immediately starting using Cetaphil wash and lotion and used Prosacea once or twice a day. I noticed a difference! My dermatologist has allowed me to continue that and we've added metro gel 1%. What the Prosacea hasn't taken care of the metro gel 1% has. With my insurance it costs $15 and one 60 gram tube lasts 3 months! Prosacea lasts me about 1-3 months depending on how often I appply it, which I try to aim for once a day. My dermatologist talked about antibiotics and laser treatments, but my rosasea isn't as bad as others I have seen online, so I declined that. He recommended CeraVe PM to reduce the redness and it seems to work, too. It's expensive at the drug stores so I might switch to the generic or buy it online. I use a sunscreen when I go outside and have to watch my triggers.

If you're still doing the contest, I'd love to enter. Also, this is my personal experience, you should check with your doctor--I'm not getting paid to talk about these products. However, I wouldn't mind if I did. LOL!

I've been told I have Rosacea, but I've never really done anything with it. I also have some skin allergies, so I avoid makeup.
