I know you are patiently waiting for Part 4 of 1 Hour + 1 Mess = 5 Crock Pot Meals. I have been stuck at 4 recipes, and we haven’t been home much lately for dinner. So here’s a very simple recipe you can make in about 5 minutes any day of the week. It’s actually too simple to bother with freezing it!
Crock Pot Chicken & Stuffing
(Printable Version)
- 1 ½ pound of boneless/skinless chicken breast
- 1 6oz box of stuffing
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
- 3-4 slices of Swiss Cheese
Instructions
- Spray the crock pot with Pam for easier clean-up.
- Place the chicken in the crock pot (I even put them in frozen)
- Pour the box of stuffing over the chicken
- Mix together the sour cream and cream soup and pour it over the chicken and stuffing.
- Cover and cook 4-5 hours on high or 6-7 hours on low.
- During the last 30 minutes lay the cheese over the meal
- Serve with your favorite veggies!
Make sure you cover the stuffing with the mixture so it doesn’t dry out. That’s it – you may even have all the ingredients in your house!
