Casserole Recipe – Chicken Tetrazzini

I love casseroles! There is something so comforting about eating a nice warm casserole. It’s a meal in one dish with a combination of yummy ingredients! No one can resist this meal. In just about every casserole recipes there is butter. That’s why I love to cook with Country Crock instead of butter. One of my favorite casserole recipes is Chicken Tetrazzini. It has just a few ingredients but it’s so good. I love how easy it is to throw together.

Chicken Tetrazzini

  • 1/2 pound cooked and drained spaghetti (8oz package)
  • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and cubed or shredded
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup (cream of mushroom can also be used)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup and 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 cube chicken bouillon
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions:
1. Put cooked spaghetti into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Place chicken on top of spaghetti.
2. In medium saucepan heat together soup, water, butter, and bouillon. Bring to a boil and then pour over the pasta and chicken. Put shredded cheese (to taste) on top and press down a bit.
3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 minutes.
