In our family, we have 2 summer birthdays to celebrate. Birthdays can be an expensive event so we try and do as much as we can to save some money. For my son’s 7th birthday he wanted a Star Wars Rebels Birthday Party. So we went to Walmart to grab some party supplies and groceries to have a fun party.
Walmart had such a great selection. We bought napkins, paper plates, cups, a tablecloth, goodie bags, and they even had a nice package of party favors to add to the goodie bags.
I usually make their birthday cakes but we could not figure out what to do for the cake. So I had the idea to use the Star Wars Rebels Cups and make Storm Trooper Cup Cakes. They were easy to put together and even more fun to eat! I also noticed less cake crumbs on the table and floor.

We also bought some sparkly tape and put them on the end of kabob sticks and put grapes on them. They looked like little light sabers and the children loved them. They ate every grape! (I need to remember this for lunch ideas!)
Walmart makes it easy and affordable to have a party your children will love. Plus it made it so easy for me to get everything I needed at the same place. My daughter has a birthday next months and we will be back to buy items for her Princess Party.
What theme does your child want for their next party?

This looks like a cool party! My kids are very into Paw Patrol right now so that will probably be the next party theme.

This looks like an awesome party. I love the Storm Trooper cup cakes. We had several Star Wars parties when my son was little.

How cute. I will have to save this for the Star Wars party we will eventually throw!

Awesome idea for a birthday party. I don't have small children anymore but I will show this to my friend who is currently planning for her son's 4th birthday party.
