One of our traditions when we make turkey is to have an Oatmeal Stuffing. It’s so simple and easy to make. Plus it only has a few ingredients!
Oatmeal Stuffing:
- 1 stick of better
- 1 small onion, diced
- Old Fashion Oats
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Add 1 stick of butter to a large sauté pan. When it’s completely melted add the onions, salt and pepper.
- When the onions are clear, pour the oats into the pan until all the butter is absorbed.
- Stuff it in the turkey!
It’s really easy and it’s different! It tastes great with some gravy and lots of turkey!

You will add at least 2 cups and then I add more so all the butter is soaked up and it's almost dry. You will get a lot of moisture from the turkey. Enjoy!
