Now Is the Time To Upgrade Your Cell Phone Plan To Verizon

Two years ago we drove from Mexico City, Mexico to Tampa, Florida. It was a long trip with 3 kids. We spend 1 day getting out of Mexico and then took 2 days driving through Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and finally Florida. We were so excited to get into the US so we could use our cell phone to call our family, surf the web, and use the GPS so we could easily find our way.

Well, once we got through McAllen, Texas we were in a dead zone for hundreds of miles! I couldn’t make calls or use our GPS. (It’s a good thing we knew we would be on the same interstate for a long time.) It was really frustrating and no one should have to worry about lack of cell phone service. Now more than ever, we use our smart phones for all our communication needs. I don’t know many people that have a landline.

We all have cell phones so we can take them with us and stay connected no matter where we are. It’s funny to think that I use to run home to listen to my voicemails from my friends and family members! It is frustrating when a call gets dropped! I hate it when I am repeating myself and the person on the other end is gone. Then we call each other back and keep getting each others voicemails! Having data on our phones is so helpful; we have internet wherever we go!

I use a ton of data each month. I check my email, find coupons, get directions, etc and I don’t like to check my data usage all the time because I am worried about going over each month. We just moved to a new state and I use my GPS all the time. Could you image if I lost the connect in the middle of a trip – I do not like to get lost. (How did we figure out where to go before GPS?)

If your current cell phone plan drops calls and limits your data or minutes – it is time for a change! Now is the perfect time to switch to Verizon. They’re offering waived activation fees for phones and tablets through June 11, plus $100 off select smartphones with code VZWDEAL. That’s a ton of savings*!

Verizon is #1 cell service provider for speed, data, reliability, and overall network performance in the U.S. according to an independent third-party tester. So switch to the best! Summer is just around the corner – you are going to be on vacation and you don’t want to worry about getting lost on your road trip or missing that call from your best friend!

We have had Verizon ever since they bought Alltel, and we love them! Have never had any issues, and their coverage really can't be beat!
