Every day I get asked the questions, “what’s for dinner?”, and I hate it! I have tried so many things to make dinner time easier and some things have helped and other things were too much work.

When you work and have a family – the best advice I can give you is to have a few easy, filling, and tasty recipes to have on a busy night!

For example – I know we can always make spaghetti for dinner. Sometimes it will have meat sauce. Since ground beef is easy to defrost I can also throw together a taco bake since I usually always have salsa, cheese, and crescent rolls in the house.

Or we can take the easy route and make breakfast for dinner or grilled cheese and tomato soup.

Just knowing that I have a stockpile of ingredients saves me money so I don’t have to grab fast food for dinner for my kids. And sometimes it’s faster to make the meal than to wait for fast food.

I always have ingredients in my house to make this chocolate chip cookie recipe for a quick dessert!

Use it to dip your crab legs.

Spoon it over salmon fillets.

How to make Easy Garlic Butter Sauce

With just a few simple ingredients you can make this Garlic Butter Sauce that is delicious paired with so many meals like seafood, chicken, pizza and more.

Ingredients

1 stick of butter – I like to start with unsalted butter so I can adjust the salt after it’s cooked – I don’t like too much salt. Make sure you use a good quality butter.

3- 4 garlic cloves – fresh garlic is the best! Minced garlic in a jar is easy but not as flavorful. Garlic lovers can add 1 more clove!

Fresh Lemon Juice – about 1/2 a large lemon

Garlic powder – this will help elevate the garlic flavors but doesn’t have too much garlic clove pieces in the sauce.

Fresh parsley – this is the only ingredient I need to pick up at the store. Fresh herbs are always the best.

Salt and black pepper to taste.

Instructions for lemon butter sauce recipe:

Add 4 tablespoons of butter to a small saucepan. Melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 -2 minutes until fragrant. If it gets too hot, lower the heat to medium-low heat. Add the remaining butter and melt butter. Do not put it on high heat. The garlic will burn and ruin the sauce.

Remove from heat and add the garlic powder, lemon juice, and parsley. Taste it and add salt and pepper to taste.

Serve it with your favorite recipes!
