Best Board Games For 10-12 Year Olds (2022)

Are you looking for the perfect board game for your 10-12 year olds this holiday season? Here is a great list of games you can add to your Christmas list to play on Family Game Night!

My kids are getting a little older and I feel like I don’t see them as much. They hang out in their room and do homework, watch TV and play on their electronics and video games. So I love a great board game night so we can laugh and catch up on things. It’s a great way to connect with your family and has so much fun!

Many of these games have a very low difficulty level so it’s easy to pick the perfect game for young children and older players.

Games are great to help with social skills and strategic thinking. They are good for fine motor skills, communication skills, and sometimes math skills. They also help you spend quality time with your family.

Everyone needs classic board games in their home like Candy Land, Trouble, Monopoly, and more! But sometimes you need a quick, new game and I think this list is going to give you a new list of fun family games!

Flip and overlap your cards to build the requested burgers as quickly as possible! Think fast! There is only one solution per order and you need to use all your cards each time!

This card game reminds me of those apps where you have to complete people’s orders in a diner to win each level. It’s a great game that will help with your memory and work quickly! Younger players will love this simple game they can play with the whole family.

With simple rules – it’s a great choice for kids ages 7+. You can play with 2-5 players and each round will take around 15 minutes. Younger kids and older kids will have fun playing this game together.

The goal is to get rid of your cards before the timer stops rocking in this fast and frantic, pear-shaped card game!

Be the quickest to match with the card in the center. Match by the object, color, or number! But if there’s an exact match, race to grab the rocking pear!

  • Ages: 7+
  • Players: 2-8
  • Game Length: 15 minutes

Pop the Box

Do you kids love those pop-it things! If so they are going to love this dice game! With a soft silicone board and a popping twist, Pop the Box is the modern version of Shut the Box, for 2 players! Instead of flipping sticks, just pop the numbers! It’s lots of fun for little kids!

With each turn, roll two dice and either pop the numbers shown or any combination of their sum. For example, if you roll a 2 and a 6 you can pop these two numbers or you can pop the 8, the 3, and the 5 etc.

Take turns rolling until you can’t pop any more numbers. Aim at popping them all; the player with the lowest remaining total wins!

  • Ages: 7+
  • Players: 1-2
  • Game Length: 10 minutes

TrapBall

Christmas Gift Ideas.....Check out this list of the Best Board Games For 10-12 Year Olds! Spend more family time playing games!

Trap Ball is a fast-action fun game where players compete to trap balls inside rings! After positioning themselves away from a line of 5 balls, players take a ring and slide it across the table. The goal is to get the ring to slide under the ball, thus trapping it!

This game uses strategic planning and hand-eye coordination! With precision, aim, and focus players must keep trying until they have trapped 3 balls!

  • Ages: 6+
  • Players: 2
  • Game Length: 15 minutes

These are all fun games that family members can get for your kids. I like these games because they don’t come with a ton of game pieces and you don’t have to worry about expansion packs.

This is a good list of the best board games! Use them on rainy days or a birthday party. They are very affordable and work well for different age groups and skill levels. It’s fun to add a little friendly competition between younger children and older siblings.
