M&M No Bake Energy Balls

My kids love this recipe for no bake energy balls! I usually have to double the recipe since they love them so much. It's a really easy snack food to make and only needs a few ingredients!

You could substitute the M&Ms for chocolate chips!

These energy balls make a great healthy snack. Just one or two and you'll have the boost you need to get through your day.

M&M No Bake Energy Balls

Yield: 14-16 energy balls | Prep time: 5 minutes | Chill time: 35 minutes | Total time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ¼ cup peanut butter chips
  • ¼ cup M&Ms

 

 

 

 

Directions

Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl. Mix thoroughly until combined.

 

 

 

Scoop out about 1-½ tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball.

 

 

 

 

 

Repeat this process and place all of the energy balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Place in the refrigerator for 30-35 minutes or until slightly firm. Enjoy it as a snack anytime!

Tips

  • Store these energy balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. You can make them ahead and place them in the freezer as well for 1-2 months. Defrost in the refrigerator for 24 hours before enjoying.
  • Use any nut butter including sunflower or almond butter instead of peanut butter. 
  • Swap any flavor of chocolate chip for the peanut butter chips if preferred.
