We don't eat pork chops very often. My 9-year-old couldn't really remember ever eating them - so it has probably been a while. Whenever I cook them in the oven or stovetop they come out dry or flavorless.

Since it's grilling season my husband suggested we grill the pork chops. We grill chicken a lot and every once in awhile we grill steaks. So I decided to use a similar marinade that I use for our steaks.

It's really easy to throw together and it really gives the meat a great flavor. I think it also makes the meat very moist.  (I love Montreal Marinade - I use it un a few recipes. I need to use it more because I have the giant spice container tom Costco!)

Perfectly Grilled, Moist Pork Chops

  •  ¼ cup olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Montreal Marinade
  • 4-6 pork chops

Instructions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a large ziploc bag. Marinade for about 4-6 hours. If you remember, flip over the bag to redistribute the marinade.
  2. Grill for about 7 minutes on each side. After they are cooked, let them sit for about 5 minutes before you cut them. This will ensure they stay juicy!

My 9 year old ate almost 2 pork chops last night and he asked today if we could have them again for dinner. There were no leftovers!
