Mazda CX 9 – The Perfect Luxury Cross Over SUV

I was given a Mazda CX 9 for a week to use in exchange for my honest opinion. 

This past week I was given a beautiful, fully loaded Mazda CX-9 to drive. It had a sun roof, leather seats, and many more features I will highlight for you. If you are looking for a Cross Over SUV that seats 7 people, this Mazda will meet all your needs.

Usually when you pick a 7 passenger SUV you lose a lot of trunk space. The nice thing about the CX-9 is that even when all 7 seats are in use, you still have enough space in your trunk. You can also fold down 1 or both seats in the back row for even more space.

My sister has a Pathfinder and my older boys (9&6 years old) told me that they had more room in the 3rd row than in her SUV. I also felt like we had more trunk space than in her SUV. So even though you will have enough room for 7 people, the will be able to be comfortable in any seat.

One of my favorite features in this SUV was the Blind Spot Monitoring. I usually look over about 5 times before I change lanes. But this made me feel safe when I needed to change lanes. If I turned on my blinker, these lights would illuminate if there was someone on the side of my car.  This will be a feature we will have in our next new vehicle.

I just moved to a new area of Florida and there are so many roads. I would have been lost many times or used up all my cell phone data if I didn’t have my in-dash navigation. The large screen made it impossible to miss a turn or get lost. I felt confident exploring new stores because I had this handy GPS!

It also had built in bluetooth with voice activation. I could call my husband without taking my eyes off the road.

This Mazda CX-9 was so amazing! I loved the leather seats, sun roof, keyless start and entry. It even had an awesome sound system with Bose speakers. The safety features are also excellent! You can get a new CX-9 well equipped for about $38,000.

Overall, I love this SUV. It was so easy to drive and very safe. But for our family, right now we needed a minivan. We have 3 small kids so the car seats make it a little difficult as our main car. It is perfect for a family with older kids. Or if you have a family of 5 but you want to make sure you have extra room to bring your kids’ friends along with you.

You will not be disappointed with the Mazda CX-9. It is a luxury SUV that seats 7 at a very affordable price!
