My hair is horrible. If I let it dry, it's a little frizzy. So then I have to get out the flat iron and get rid of the frizz. But then my hair is so flat! As a Sam's Club member, I get a free magazine called Healthy Living Made Simple. I came across an article "Clean and easy: Know what shampoo is right for you' and purchasing and using Sam's Club hair products to wash and style your hair". The article talked about different ways to take care of your hair. I learned so much!
I color treat my hair, so the article suggested using extreme caution with a clarifying shampoo. I never knew that - so I will be staying away from that. I read about Volumizing shampoos and conditioners. So I thought I would try out some Volumizing shampoo and conditioner to give my hair a little lift.
It worked so well that I wanted to share with you 3 steps to add volume to your hair.
First make sure you pick up a Volumizing shampoo and conditioner. I love buying the products at Sam's Club because they usually have a pump. Regular sized bottles usually slip out of my hand. Plus they last a long time. Towel dry your hair and brush out all the knots.
Then get a nice brush that the air can pass through and start to dry your hair from the roots, lifting up with the brush as you blow dry your hair.
When your hair is just about dry, add some hair spray to the roots of your hair and again while holding your hair up with a brush, use a blow dryer to set your hair in place. You can adjust how much volume you want your hair to have based on how high you hold the brush.
I love how easy this was to get my hair to have some volume. According to Healthy Living Made Simple Magazine, it's all about having the right products! No wonder it was so much easier and looked great.
My kids are growing too fast - and eat all the time. So I spend a lot of time at Sam's Club picking up groceries, meat, and produce. I never really thought about walking through the Pharmacy area to get hair care products. I will now be able to save some trips to the grocery store because I am going to start purchasing more health and beauty items for our family at Sam's Club.
If you are a member of Sam's Club, make sure you look for, Healthy Living Made Simple Magazine, a free magazine provided to Sam's Club members. It has so many great tips, articles, recipes, and information about products you can find at Sam's Club.
I hate running out of items, so it's so nice to get everything I need at Sam's Club! What's your favorite items to buy at Sam's Club?

I get keratin treatments at the salon, so I have to be very careful about what products I use in my hair. I will have to ask about these.
Your hair looks really pretty, I will have to try those tips, as living in Miami, the humidity is terrible for our hair.
I like getting the sulfate free shampoos, it's really helped with the frizzies! I haven't shopped at Sams in a while, we didn't find the membership helpful to us..we usually shop week to week though and not do a "stock up"
Sounds like great tips. I do not have a Sam's club membership, we have Costco.
Hey Janelle - And your hair turned out lovely - I also like the pump shampoos and use the same tips you've suggested! But, I'll pay closer attention to holding the brush out with my hair at the roots while drying - thank you for the reminders!
Thanks for the tips. It seems the older I get, the limper my hair gets. I can use all the help I can get.
This is a great little tutorial! We used to have a Sam's Club here but it ended up closing down 🙁
