My husband used to travel a lot with his job. That meant I was in a new city where I hardly knew anyone and I had no family that lived close by. I also have 3 kids that are super active and we usually had something to do a few nights a week.

We didn’t have time to get sick. I didn’t have anyone to leave my kids with if I had to take a child to urgent care in the evening. (Because kids always get a fever when the pediatrician’s office is closed!)

On one of these trips, my son spiked a fever, had a sore throat and was feeling horrible. We knew it was strep throat. Half his class was out sick with strep throat.

I was so grateful for Amwell. I jumped online and instantly connected with a doctor that was able to diagnose and call in a prescription for my son.

Within an hour, my friend ran to the pharmacy for me and picked up his medicine and he was feeling so much better the next morning.

No one likes to leave the house when they are sick. Most of the time my kids just want to stay in their pajamas in bed all day.

Have you ever considered using Amwell when you are sick? It’s so much easier than looking for an urgent care facility and waiting forever for a doctor to see you or your sick child.

Amwell helped me sleep better that night knowing that my son had received his first dose of medicine and I didn’t have to drag all my kids to an urgent care facility and wait for a doctor to see us.

What a neat idea. I wish we had services like this in Canada. It is sometimes tough to go see a doctor when your kids are sick and do not want to leave the house.

I would love to try this out and see how it works. I just wonder if it would really be worth it for me since they wouldn't be able to run any tests.

AmWell is such a great service to have because sickness cannot be scheduled. It is so comforting to know that we can now have access to a doctor 24/7!

This is a very convenient service. It's important to always be an advocate for your own health care.
