I am not a crafty person but I had a fun time making these DIY crayons and printable Valentine’s Card for my kids. You only need a few supplies to put these gift bags together.

You can put these Valentine packages together with a small box of crayons or you can make your own heart crayons with all the broken crayons you have all over your house.

Printable Valentines Day Card Gift Bag Supplies:

• Wide plastic bags
• pretty ribbon
• Valentines Cards (You can print out Card 1 or Card 2. Each sheet has 4 cards.)
• boxes of crayons or homemade heart crayons

It’s really easy to make your own heart crayons. You need a silicon baking tray. There is a small one that has 24 cavities or a large heart mold that has 6 cavities. I used the large one and it needed a lot of crayons – so I think next time I will use the smaller mold.

Peel the paper off the crayons and break into small pieces. Fill up the molds about 3/4 full.

In a preheated oven at 200*, melt the crayons. Check them at about 12 minutes. When they are completly melted removed from the oven and swirl them with a toothpick.

Once they are cool you can pop them out of the molds and assemble the gift bags.

Tip – make sure you mix up the colors so they aren’t all dark colors.
