Spring baseball has started. We spent the weekend at the baseball fields and took part in the opening day celebrations and played a game. We have been practicing for the past 6 weeks and if you have ever had a child on a sports team, you know that you become great friends with the other parents. All the players' siblings play together and it's a great time.
I like to be the mom that has something to share with all the parents and kids. I put together a little basket of useful items for everyone. When I was at Kroger, I noticed the new Extra® 35-stick pack in the checkout line. It features more gum than other packs of gum but it comes in a compact, durable, recycled packaging. If you want to be the Mom that has goodies for everyone without spending a fortune, this Baseball Fun Kit is for you.
Supplies:
- Basket to hold everything
- Extra® Gum Spearmint
- Extra® Gum Polar Ice®
- Sunscreen
- First Aid Kit
- Crayons
- Small Notebooks
- Tissues
- Wipes
- Sunglasses
- Stickers
My daughter loves to color and play with stickers, so when the little kids start to get board they can pull out the notebooks, crayons, and stickers. It's a fun way to keep them busy so we can get through a practice and game.
Sometimes moms forget to cover their kids in sunscreen. I keep a little bottle in the box and if anyone needs it, they know they can grab it and cover their kids. Plus the sunglasses are fun and protect their little eyes.
I really love the new Extra® 35-stick pack - I grabbed the Extra® Gum Spearmint and Extra® Gum Polar Ice® and I'm sure it will be enough gum to get us through several games. It's also another item that can distract the kids and keep them happy for a few more innings. Plus I can keep a few sticks in my purse to enjoy when we are away from the field. I give Give Extra, Get Extra!
As you know with kids, tissues and wipes always come in handy. So do the items in the first aid kit. Someone usually needs a band-aid or ice pack.
We have so much fun hanging out and making new friends at the baseball fields. Having all these items with us makes it a little more enjoyable to get through some of the long, hot games during Spring Baseball.
Make sure you grab a Extra® 35-stick pack at Kroger. You will love having so many pieces of gum to keep in your desk, purse, and baseball fun kit!
What sports do your kids play?

This is a great idea to have around for sports days. I really like Extra gum.
That's a great way to make sure you're prepared for a day of sports fun in the sun. I always have to have my gum and my shades.
What a great idea! You're the best ball momma 🙂
This is such a good idea. I am so happy summer is rolling around.
Love this! What a really great idea. I could have used this for my kiddos soccer games last year - and this year too!
This is an awesome kit. I'm definitely a fan of Extra. Their Polar Ice flavor is my favorite.
This is such a great idea! The NEW Extra® 35-stick pack gives you lots of gum to share and the durable packaging will hold up well at any event! #client
Yes! And I love that it's easy to open and close so my kids don't spill it all over my purse.
I do like to bring goodies to the games. My son loves that gum, and I do too!
I love this idea. I will have to make on up for my family this weekend.
My boys would have loved this fun kit when they were playing baseball. It has all the perfect snacks for being out on the field watching and playing games.
You are such a cool mom for getting all these fun goodies together! I need to pick up some of that gum! I haven't tried the Polar Ice one yet!
The kids have to love having all the goodies after baseball. I love Extra
I wish we had Spring baseball when it is cooler. We do not start until Summer here. We always pack snacks but I pack gum so that I do not snack too much!
That is a great kit to have for any sports activity. Add a small 1st aid kit to it for those just in cases!
Yes - it is on the list. We always need a bandaid or ice pack.
