3 Reasons To Use Cars.com

This information is brought to you by Cars.com. All opinions are my own.

Last year we had to go car shopping for my husband. It is not an easy task, especially when you move to a new city and state and you really don’t know the area very well nor people that can help you find a new vehicle. Lucky for us, we stumbled onto Cars.com pretty quickly and it really helped us narrow down our options when it came to purchasing a used vehicle for my husband.

You can search for New, Used, Or Certified Pre-Owned vehicles:

This is always our #1 question when we need to purchase a new vehicle – do we want to purchase something new because we have the warranty and we know how the car has been treated since day 1 but you are losing a bunch of money on the car as soon as you drive it off the lot. Or do you purchase something used to save some money.

When you visit Cars.com you can do a search of what the vehicle you are looking for costs. You can compare the differences to know if you want to buy a used car or a certified preowned car. I loved that I could instantly tell how much more it cost to purchase a new vehicle vs a certified pre-owned car.

For example: A 2017 Ford Escape costs between $19,000 – $35,000. A certified Pre-Owned Certified 2016 Ford Escape Titanium with only 20,000 miles on it was $24,000. A brand new 2017 Ford Escape Titanium was around 40,000. For me, It would be worth it to save 16,000 and get a car that is a little used and a lot cheaper.

You can read reviews:

Every year they come out with different models, different upgrades, etc. If you have a few models in mind that you would like to research you can find out everything you want to know. Even if you want to search for older models they will have reviews for you to read. For example, this 2014 Honda CR-V has 151 consumer reviews – so you are getting information about the car you want from people that have been driving that car.

Sell Your Car:

If you are looking to buy a new car – you probably have another one you want to sell. Cars.com has a bunch of information that will help you know the value better and sell it easier. If you don’t want to sell it by yourself they even have a tool that will help you sell it to a dealer. They will quickly get you 4 offers from local dealers.

As you can see, if you are in the market to buy or sell a vehicle – Cars.com should be your first stop to help you sell your car quickly or find the perfect vehicle to meet your needs!
