I actually like to grocery shop. I dont mind going down each aisle and getting what I need. Sometimes I even get an awesome meal I wasn’t expecting to get.
But then there are times when I spent too long making my meal plan or I just don’t have an hour to go up and down every aisle to get what I need. And that is when I am so happy to have Walmart Grocery pick up.

Saves You Time
This past week I spent at least an hour making a meal plan. We are trying to eat healthier foods (like everyone else) and making sure I have all the ingredients to make good meals takes time. My shopping list was long. I am sure I needed a few things from every aisle. After spending so much time making the list – I didn’t want to actually go to the store and get what I needed.
Im sure this shopping trip would have taken me about 90 minutes. I had a long list of things to do for work, there were many dishes to be washed, laundry to be done, and the list goes on. Why would I spend 90 minutes doing something that someone else would do for me for FREE!?
So I grabbed my list and typed in what I needed – every single thing on my lists. I didn’t need to back track. I didn’t need a pen to cross out what I already added to my cart – I just went down the list and got everything! It seriously only took me 4 minutes to add everything to my cart!

Saves you Money
Walmart has very low prices. Sometimes I compare the prices from other grocery store apps and they are a lot lower on every single item I need to buy. When I continue to shop at Walmart Im saving a big chunk of money every week on my grocery bill.
I spend a lot of money at the grocery store – but I feel like this is an area in my budget that I have some wiggle room to really improve and save more money.
Replacements are better!
Sometimes they dont have what you need. So they will give you the option to substitute it with something of greater value. Many times I will add the Walmart band product to my cart and if they are out of it they will give me the name brand item. Sometimes they give me the bigger item. And they always charge me the price of the product I originally wanted.
In this picture I had ordered Walmart brand Cauliflower Rice and they gave me Green Giant instead and it was a bigger package. They also replaced the Great Value Tomatoes with Hunts and gave me a bigger bag of the flax seeds.
Don’t Forget Anything
I always have my phone with me. So when I am in the kitchen or walking around the house and I realize that I am out of something I open up my Walmart app and add it to my cart.
If you re anything like me you have a few shopping lists around the house and then when it’s time to shop, you forget to bring your list with you to the store.
