Best Chicken Marinade Recipe

If you have been searching the webs to find the Best Chicken Marinade Recipe, look no further because this is going to become your favorite go-to recipe when you want to grill chicken!

This was so good that all 3 of my kids loved it – and didn’t complain that we were having chicken AGAIN!

This was so good that my middle son that always complains about chicken for dinner was grabbing pieces of chicken off the plate after he was done with dinner and put his plate away.

This dinner was so simple – and so flavorful! So if you have a family to feed or you have invited a few people over for dinner, you need to try this recipe!

I made this on a charcoal grill…but this recipe made me realize that I need a gas grill so I can make this faster anytime I want a delicious chicken dinner.

Tips To make the Best Grilled Chicken:

  • I used chicken breasts for this recipe. I like to pound the chicken to about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thickness. It makes it tender and cooked more evenly. This chicken is grilled for 4-6 minutes per side. If you are using thicker chicken, it will take longer to cook.
  • If you use bone-in chicken it will take more time to cook completely.
  • It’s best to have a meat thermometer handy so you can check the chicken to see when it’s cooked The chicken should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165˚F.

When I flatten the chicken I put them in a large plastic bag and smash it with a rolling pin to make the chicken a uniform size. Then I place it on a cutting board and cut them into uniformed sized pieces of chicken. I usually get about 3 pieces of chicken per chicken breast
