Baked Chicken Tenderloin Recipes

Sharing is caring!

I always love to find a new chicken recipe! Sometimes you have chicken tenderloins in your freezer and don’t want to make your usual chicken strips again! You need a new and easy recipe to get dinner on the table – fast!

I usually have boneless skinless chicken breasts in my freezer but the tenderloins cook much faster. My favorite tender recipe is to make The Best Chicken Spice Rub Recipe and cover the tenderloins in this seasoning. I have never baked them but I love to cook them in my cast iron skillet or on the grill.

I’m sure you can make many of these recipes on the grill, pan-fried, or in the air fryer. But sometimes it’s nice to throw stuff in the oven and forget about them!

Most of the time you can create a delicious dinner with some spices like garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder.

Grab your spices and a baking sheet and get dinner in the oven and on the table on a crazy night! You can make a crispy coating with a bread crumb mixture or by using panko breadcrumbs. Last week I made some chicken nuggets with a parmesan cheese coating and it was so good!

Tips for basic delicious chicken tenders made with chicken tenderloins:

  1. When you are making homemade chicken tenders the best way to do it is to dip the chicken in a flour mixture (add some salt and black pepper). Then dip it into an egg mixture. Finally, dip it in something like bread crumbs or parmesan cheese for a delicious coating.
  2. Place chicken on a cookie sheet and bake chicken tenders in a preheated oven at 425*. You can spray a little olive oil spray on the cookie sheet and then a light layer on top of the chicken. The cooking time may vary but they usually take between 15 – 20 minutes to bake.

If you have leftovers store them in an airtight container or a ziploc bag for a few days. Chop up the chicken and add them to a salad for a new meal.

Grab your favorite dipping sauce:

  • Honey mustard sauce
  • BBQ sauce
  • Ranch dressing
  • Chick Fil A Sauce
