We just got back from a really fun visit to Christmas Town at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, it is such a fun, festive celebration! From the moment we stepped into the park, you are in the Christmas spirit. Busch Gardens truly transforms into a dazzling winter wonderland, filled with millions of twinkling lights, holiday shows, and seasonal treats that bring joy to guests of all ages.
A Holiday Wonderland Like No Other
Running from Now through January 5, Christmas Town fills Busch Gardens with holiday cheer, making it the perfect destination to create lasting memories with family and friends. This year, they’ve outdone themselves with two spectacular new additions: the Holiday Skies Spectacular — a breathtaking drone show set to classic holiday tunes — and the immersive Serengeti Light Show, which turns the park’s iconic Serengeti Plain into a glowing canvas of festive colors and music.
The classic Skyride sparkles with festive lights, offering magical nighttime views of the park. You can still enjoy your favorite rides and coasters like Kumba and Phoenix Rising, making the holiday fun both thrilling and heartwarming. We had the front of the line passes and my kids loved being able to ride all the roller coasters. They even went on the Serengeti Swing twice!

Festive Fun for Everyone
From the Santa’s North Pole Experience—where kids can meet Santa and explore his workshop—to the Holly Jolly Express train ride filled with sing-alongs, the entertainment makes it feel like Christmas!
We loved the Christmas on Ice show, featuring incredible skating performances set to Christmas classics. Plus, the park is full of characters ready for photos, including Elmo and friends in Elmo’s Christmas Wish, and even enchanting princesses wandering through the park.
