Crock Pot Chicken & Stuffing

Last Updated on February 7, 2013 by Janell

I know you are patiently waiting for Part 4 of 1 Hour + 1 Mess = 5 Crock Pot Meals. I have been stuck at 4 recipes, and we haven’t been home much lately for dinner. So here’s a very simple recipe you can make in about 5 minutes any day of the week. It’s actually too simple to bother with freezing it!

Crock Pot Chicken & Stuffing
(Printable Version)

  • 1 ½ pound of boneless/skinless chicken breast
  • 1 6oz box of stuffing
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
  • 3-4 slices of Swiss Cheese

Instructions

  1. Spray the crock pot with Pam for easier clean-up.
  2. Place the chicken in the crock pot (I even put them in frozen)
  3. Pour the box of stuffing over the chicken
  4. Mix together the sour cream and cream soup and pour it over the chicken and stuffing.
  5. Cover and cook 4-5 hours on high or 6-7 hours on low.
  6. During the last 30 minutes lay the cheese over the meal
  7. Serve with your favorite veggies!

Make sure you cover the stuffing with the mixture so it doesn’t dry out. That’s it – you may even have all the ingredients in your house!
