Baked Chicken In A Crock Pot

Sharing is caring!

You will love this recipe because it tastes just like baked chicken that’s made in a crock pot! It’s so easy and includes potatoes!

My whole family loves this recipe! I love it because this recipe calls for simple ingredients and it’s easy to throw together and we have almost a complete meal. All I need to do is heat up a can of green beans or baby carrots and grab some rolls for an amazing meal.

As a mom, most weeknights are busy weeknights and I need easy recipes to feed my family. I have a lot of slow cooker chicken breast recipes but this is my favorite slow cooker whole chicken recipe.

  • The house smells so good when it’s cooking that everyone is excited about dinner time.
  • You can mix up a double or triple batch of this spice mix so it’s ready the next time you want to make this meal.
  • Use up the leftover chicken to make a casserole another night. It’s a great way to get 2 meals and only have to cook the meat once! You could use the shredded chicken to make a chicken salad or chicken soup. You can also use up any white rice and make fried rice for dinner.
  • The cook time is based on the time you have available! When I would homeschool I would throw this in the slow cooker around lunch time on high heat. Or if you are out working all day you can add it to your slow cooker in the morning and cook it on low heat.
