When you have a family of 5 – you have to really plan your vacation so you can stay within a reasonable budget. For our family – our most affordable vacations have been cruises. You pay one prices and it includes your food and lodging, plus you wake up in a new tropical location!
As a mom it really is the best way for me to relax. I don’t have to worry about where we will eat or about how much each meal is going to cost because it is all included! You really can’t book a vacation that cheap and visit as many places and eat so much food!
Our family has been on about 6 Carnival Cruises – 2 of them have been family reunion cruises. The first cruise there was about 20 of us and in November we took a cruise and there were 16 of us! It’s nice to have meals together and hang out on the islands.
This was our first cruise with kids. I was excited about Camp Carnival – but I was afraid my kids would not want to go. Well….they loved it! They actually asked if we could drop them off more often! It really is the perfect vacation when you can actually take your kids but still go on a date with your husband because you know your kids are well taken care of! (Camp Carnival is part of your vacation – no additional fees!)
Carnival Cruise offers cruises out of many ports around the world. They have many itineraries. Check them out because you may be surprised how affordable this vacation can be!
We have been to the Western Caribbean and the Bahamas. I would love to visit the EasternCaribbean or Alaska on our next vacation.
These vacations are all-inclusive. The only money you will have to pay extra for is tips, drinks, and your excursions. Carnival even lets you make interest free payments on your cruise! They also offer discounts for past cruisers and military personal!
