A few weeks ago my daughter came home from school and she was really tired. She just slept on the couch on and off during the afternoon. It was Friday, so I just figured that she was tired after a week of school. She went to bed at 7pm but then she woke up crying at 9pm. She was complaining that her head hurt really bad. When I checked her temperature, it was 104.7 degrees.
I quickly grabbed her some clothes, gave her a dose of Children’s Advil®, grabbed my keys and headed to the ER. She has had fevers before, but never this high. By the time the doctor at the ER saw her, her temperature was back to normal. It had only been about 30 minutes since I had left the house. She was diagnosed with Strep Throat and after resting all weekend and taking her medicines, she was better for school on Monday.
When she’s sick she prefers to lay on the couch and watch TV. I usually buy her a new coloring book and some crayons to help keep her on the couch resting. We get her favorite pillow and blanket and get her comfy on the couch. She also snuggles with her little bear and her “little blankie”. The more I can get her to rest – the quicker she will feel better.
Because my kids are now in school and they are no longer homeschooled, they seem to catch viruses a little more often. I always make sure that I have Children’s Advil® in the house so that when they do get a fever, I can get them a quick dose of it and they feel better pretty quickly.
Children’s Advil® not only takes their fevers down very quickly but it keeps the fever down longer with less medicine than Children’s Tylenol®, so we all can feel better.
My kids prefer the Dye-Free White Grape flavor but Children’s Advil® is also available in Sugar-free Dye-free Berry, Bubble Gum, Grape, Blue Raspberry, and Fruit. We also have the Grape Chewables for my oldest son. It’s an easy-to-swallow small tablet.
I am so glad that I had Children’s Advil® in my house when my daughter had her fever. I make sure I never run out. Whenever I stop by Walgreens I buy a bottle in case of times like that night. No one ever wants to run out to get medicine when your child is sick.

Children's Advil does wonders on fevers - it's definitely our first line of defense and I don't leave home without it! #client
