How to Make Ribs in the Instant Pot

  1. Season the ribs with salt and pepper.
  2. Rub buffalo sauce all over the ribs.
  3. Place a trivet in the Instant Pot if you have one. This keeps the ribs out of the liquid.
  4. Add the water to the bottom of the pot.
  5. Place the ribs inside, seal the lid, and set the pressure to manual.
  6. Cook for 25 minutes.

Once done, allow a natural release for 5 minutes. Then carefully release the remaining pressure.

Brush with extra buffalo sauce before serving. For crispier ribs, place them under the broiler for a few minutes.

Ribs in Instant Pot made easy. These buffalo pork ribs are tender, juicy, and fall off the bone. A fast dinner recipe the whole family will love.

Cook Time 25 minutes
Additional Time 10 minutes
Total Time 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 rack ribs (approximately 2 lbs)
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce, plus more for serving
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Season ribs with salt and pepper and then rub in the buffalo sauce. 
  2. If you have a trivet use it with your ribs so they’re not sitting in the liquid, Place the ribs in the Instant Pot.
  3. Add the liquid to the bottom of the slow cooker and the ribs, seal, and cook. 
  4. Set timer for 25 minutes on manual. Once the ribs are nice and tender, you’re going to allow them to naturally release for about 5 minutes and then you can flip the release to let out the rest of the pressure. 
  5. Serve brushed with additional buffalo sauce. Or you could also add the buffalo sauce and broil them to crisp up a bit.
